For the past 3 months, I’ve been devouring a book for my nutrition classes and I absolutely love it! World’s Healthiest Foods is not just a list of healthful ingredients, it’s a refreshingly logical and inspiring way of looking at food as nourishment for our bodies. I invite all of you who are wanting to learn more about healthy eating to read this book. The author, George Mateljan, explains a set of criteria each food must pass before getting on his list of World’s Healthiest, as well as the healthiest way to prepare meals. I no longer overcook my food and have upgraded my pots and pans after reading what a difference they make. I also pay close attention to the fats I chose to cook and prepare meals in more now than ever before. This book is a wonderful place to start if you are on a healthier path.
