Salads are a definite staple in a radiant skin diet. They are raw and jam packed with antioxidants and vitamins. However, when you need a slight change of pace in the veggie department, summer squash is a great addition. Squash contains high amounts of Manganese and Vitamin C, as well as Vitamins A, B and K, Folic acid, Potassium and Calcium…which will supply your skin with important antioxidants and vital collagen building nutrients. Roasted apples and pears (which are especially high in Vitamins C, K, and collagen boosting copper) have been a long standing favorite sweet treat but adding in gluten free and nutrient rich waffles and nuts makes them even sweeter!
