The Skin – Gut Connection


I talk / rant about this all the time with my clients, friends and family. If you want to heal your skin issues, you need to heal your gut. You simply cannot have healthy skin if your digestive system is inhibited or inflamed. Not possible. Taking daily probiotics is a great first step in improving gut health – but the buck does NOT stop there. Most of the time, healing the gut involves doing away with overindulging in sugar, refined foods, etc. Many times, it is necessary to remove these things altogether (at least, at first.)
