After writing about Pineapple last week, I wanted to share my newest healthy skin juice recipe. Pineapple contains natural enzymes that can aid in digestion as well as Vitamin C and folic acid. It’s a wonderful addition to any green drink recipe – which is precisely why I added it to may juice today. It turned out to be pretty darn delicious too!
All ingredients should be organic and kept in the fridge to keep juice slightly cool:
- 1 small bunch Curly Kale
- 1 small head Romaine Lettuce
- 1 large Green Apple (cut, remove seeds)
- 1 cup cut Pineapple (cored, remove rind)
- 1 Pink Grapefruit (cut and peeled)
If you are new to juicing, or want to make your juice go farther, simply dilute it with purified water. I filled 1/3 of my tall glass with water before filling it to the top with green juice.
Try adding pineapple to your favorite juice. It goes well with any of these individual juices:
