I don’t know about you, but it’s getting more and more difficult to get going and get out of the house in the mornings. Between walking the dogs, wrangling my 19-month old, and making sure I don’t leave the house looking like a hot mess…I sometimes forget about the most important meal of the day – oops. I recently started oil pulling for 20 minutes every morning right when I wake up, and this forces me to get in a routine in the morning. I found that taking those 20 minutes and making a smoothie while swishing away, I’ve also found a genius way to make sure I eat (er, drink) breakfast. I’m lucky in that my daughter enjoys smoothies as well, so we usually share (except for those times I make a coffee smoothie – no one needs a caffeinated toddler!)
