My good friend, Christa (a new mom who is always on the lookout for health tips), found this great article about baby carrots. I thought it was very interesting and definitely worth sharing with all of you.
Turns out our favorite teenie veggie snacks are impostors that could be providing us with an more than a dose of vitamin A and fiber…chlorine?
Normally I would recommend such a healthy snack choice, but just like any fruit or vegetable that has been pre-peeled and cut, they have to be preserved in some way…and preservation can seriously mess with nutritional factors.
