However, when you add a bit of cinnamon to the mix…things get much more exciting (and beneficial!)
Cinnamon is a wonder spice. It boosts healthy circulation, which plumps and clears the skin. It also helps clear the skin and boosts healthy detoxification by bringing in more oxygen. When used internally, cinnamon aids healthy digestion. All of these benefits are part of the healthy skin equation.
Honey Cinnamon Mask
This mask is so simple to make, with just two or three ingredients and no prep work required. And, because most of us already have them items in our kitchen, this mask can be made anytime for glowing skin results!
*While this mask is extremely beneficial and gentle, it does contain stimulating spices. Therefore, it should not be used more than once weekly and should not be used on extremely sensitive or broken skin.
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp raw organic honey
- Combine both ingredients in small bowl and apply to damp, clean skin for at least 20 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly and follow with appropriate moisture or treatment product.
TIP: you can also add in 1 tsp of nutmeg for more clearing benefits!
