Easy Peach Facial Mask Recipes

peach post | Easy Peach Facial Mask Recipes | at home spa

Nothing says summertime more than Peaches, and there’s nothing better than a perfectly ripe peach (especially when it’s warm and added on top of organic coconut ice cream..mmmmm)
Peaches are delicious to eat, but they are also really wonderful for your skin as well! Peaches contain natural alpha hydroxy acids to gently exfoliate and cleanse the skin, as well as Vitamins A and C to strengthen and protect your skin. Using this fruit on your skin once a week during the summer can help keep your skin as smooth and soft as, well, a peach!

You can actually just peel a peach and rub the inside of the skin on your face and leave it for about an hour before rinsing…but if you want more creative mask recipes, here are our three favorites:

Peach Hydration Mask
½ ripe organic peach, peeled and pitted
1 tbsp raw organic honey (for sensitive skins, or those with allergies to honey – substitute honey with organic plain yogurt!)
1 tbsp oatmeal

  1. Mash peach in blender or using food processor, adding in just a bit of water to help the process
  2. Combine peach, honey and oatmeal and apply to clean, damp skin, leaving on for approx 20-30 minutes before rinsing.
  3. Follow with moisturizer of choice.

Firming Peach Mask
½ ripe organic peach, peeled and pitted
1 eggwhite

  1. Combine both in a food processor with a bit of water until thoroughly combined and apply to clean, damp skin for 20 minutes to 1 hour.
  2. Rinse and follow with serum or moisturizer of choice.

  3. Rinse and follow with serum or moisturizer of choice.

Mmmm Peaches! Tomorrow I will try the Exfoliating Peach and Pineapple Mask: ½ ripe organic peach, peeled and pitted, 2 large pieces of pineapple, 1 tbsp honey. Anything natural is better for your skin than the high priced facial/skin cleansers you buy at the top notch stores in the mall. At least we know what is in this stuff, and we know the benefits it does to our skin, Do you have any idea what those ingredients do to your skin from the $40 bottles? Did you ever look it up? Thanks for sharing these recipes.

Now this is a great idea for skin care. I've used cucumbers many times and an oatmeal mask a few times. But now I must try the peach and pineapple.
