Blueberry Spa Recipes

We had so much fun creating this month’s facial special at the skin care studio that we wanted to share some great at-home spa recipes for those of you who aren’t locals. They are all about blueberries and are good enough to eat – seriously!

Blueberry Sugar Scrub
2 cups brown sugar
2 teaspoons puréed blueberries
3 tablespoons lemon juice

Combine all ingredients in small bowl and use to scrub from toes to neck in gentle circular motion toward the heart.
Rinse thoroughly in shower or bath.
Follow with body lotion or oil.

Blueberry anti-aging Mask

8-10 organic blueberries, mashed
1 tbsp plain organic yogurt
juice form ½ lemon

Combine ingredients by hand or in blender and apply to clean skin for at least 15 minutes.
Add more blueberries to thicken mask if needed.
Rinse thoroughly and follow with appropriate moisture treatment.
